Host the BAVS Annual Conference!

Every year the BAVS Annual Conference takes place in late summer – typically in July, or late August / early September – and is a key event in the calendar for scholars working in the field of Victorian studies. Our vibrant, interdisciplinary Annual Conference brings together researchers from a wide variety of disciplinary backgrounds and career stages to share ideas, present new work, and build connections across our wonderful community.

We’re now inviting expressions of interest to host the BAVS conference in 2026, 2027, and 2028. If you’re interested in bringing this exciting event to your institution, we’d be delighted to hear from you!
