I have published on women's personal writings (diaries and letters) and on the serialisation of the nineteenth-century novel.
I have also published a letters-based biography of Jane Austen as part of the 'Life of the Author' series (Ulster Literary Biography Research Centre) and an essay on Austen and the letter will appear in a collection on Jane Austen and the Arts.
