I am primarily interested in the mid to late 19th century especially focused on single mothers and orphans. I am also interested in workhouses and asylums and the affect they had on paupers. My UG dissertation was focused on single mothers and orphans and followed their journey through the workhouse at York and Docking biographically using case studies.
I am also interested in women in agriculture especially those from the Yorkshire Dales and Moors.
