Much distracted in retirement by study of mediaeval wall paintings discovered in St. Cadoc's, Llancarfan, have published (with Professor Maddy Gray) three interpretive booklets. Was able though to present a paper on a Florentine biographical aspect of northern novelist Jessie Fothergill at the NYU/Purdue NAVSA/AVSA Florence in 2017. Am involved in interpretation (and hopeful rescue) of Eglwys Brewis, the first church in Wales to be conserved according to the principles of Morris & Webb's Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
