I am a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Professor Elizabeth Prettejohn. My doctoral thesis examines the intersection of old age and art in late nineteenth-century Britain. I have a number of interdisciplinary research interests, including the relationship between images and words, the intersection of high art and mass culture, classical reception studies, feminist theory, and historiography.
