I am in my third year of my PhD on vagrancy and vagabondage in the Victorian period. My research interests are: walking, homelessness, mobility studies, social history, material culture, the newspaper and periodical press, and literary studies. I have published articles on works by Charles Dickens in relation to homelessness.
