Research interests:
My research focuses on the history of Egyptology and Ancient Egyptian collections in Ireland from 1750-1920.
I have a broad interest in antiquarians, scholars and travellers in Egypt in the long nineteenth century, imperialism and post-colonial studies.
Other interests include Egyptology, Egyptian reception studies and museum studies.
